Cuteness personified

We went to Maine. It was fun whirlwind weekend trip. Uncle Adam was surprised. Casa Rathbun enjoyed our unique brand of craziness. Kasper loved the snow. Unfortunately, we got The Plague and so did half of the people we visited. Ah, the joys of traveling with kids.

Becky took awesome photos. I'll let them speak for themselves. There are more at WoodfordNorth. (did I say more - I meant LOTS more. Aunt Becky loves us. And we love her back.)

Yep, we're still alive

I know. More updates, more photos, I hear it from Mema and I hear it from others. I'll do my best to improve output.

Portrait of the Artist as a Young, Young Man

It's good to be chubby and happy

But sometimes, he pulls out the Chub Norris face - don't mess with him!

On the count of three, CUTE!

Grandchild #9 and grandchild #12 are getting warmed up and ready to put their cuteness on display for Grammie & Grampy when they arrive Saturday (keep your fingers crossed for good flying weather). Kasper is a pro, so he's giving Emmett some tips.

Tip #1 - Do something sort of dangerous, but smile.

Tip #2 - There is no thing as too much picture-postcard cuteness.

As you can see, Emmett is a fast study.
(Thankfully, he's too young to understand dangerous yet.)

Laissez les bons temp rouler

Well, it's not Bourbon St, but we had a good time anyway. Kasper wanted to wear all the beads but grudging agreed that Emmett needed some for the photos. It feels like New Orleans here today, 65 degrees before 11am.

To really appreciate this photo, you need the soundtrack. Of course, a slice of King Cake and a hurricane from Pat O's wouldn't hurt either.

Something to say

We've got another chatty one on our hands. Don't look at me - I've got no idea where my kids get it. There was that one time that my camp counselor voted me "Most Likely to Convince Anyone That White is Black and Black is White" but it's difficult to believe that it's hardwired in my genes.

Mountain men

Grammie found these awesome Sugarloaf sweaters at a craft show. Kasper asked to wear his today. When I asked why, he told me, "I wanna look stylish." Job well done!

And.....we're back!

Why is it the end of December feels like going through the spin cycle in the dryer? If that wasn't enough to slow our blogging, the card reader on our last surviving computer had a run-in with a juice spritzer. Not good.
So, here's a boatload of photos to make up for lost time!
