1-800-222-1222

FYI: The folks at Poison Control are very nice. And no annoying prompts - you get a real person right away. That is very helpful if you live with Kasper.

Everyone is fine.

Crazy, but fine.

(And that's tomato sauce all over him in the photo.)

Happy Valentine's Day!

I know it's a greeting card holiday, but I've got a cute kid and it seemed like a good enough excuse.

Shaken, not stirred

Kasper asked for a slice of lime in his cranberry juice spritzer (which is the fancy code word I use for Mama watering down his juice). This kid is so ready for Cayman.

A rare occasion of "Mama do" instead of "Kasper do"

Mmmm, delicious! (We really should get this kid in TV commercials.)

Another rare sight - taking turns (also known as sharing).

Limey goodness!

Is he ready for some football? Oh, yeah.
(OK, you caught me. I took this photo with the intention of using it Superbowl weekend and didn't quite make it. But it's too cute not to share.)

Doughnut Nut

After working weekends for almost my entire adult life, my switch to a new 9-5 M-F position this winter has turned weekends into prime Kasper-Daddy time. One thing we've started doing is taking a Saturday doughnut run. As you'll see and hear, Kasper has a particular place he likes to go to get his doughnut fix.

Meet Cupcake and Five-Guys

Kasper has named his first toys -- you can hear the official announcement here. And if you're wondering where the name "Five-Guys" came from, come visit and we'll show you. After one visit, you just might name your next baby "Five-Guys," too.

Goin' Country

We spent yesterday afternoon at one of our favorite places: Frying Pan Park. We've posted pictures from here before, but here's a slideshow that's gives you an idea of what it's like chasing Kasper around when he has a couple-dozen acres of farmland to explore.

Why it's good to have a two-part sink

You can do the dishes while you relax in a warm soak. (Just a little cuteness to tide everyone over until we get the birthday photos organized.)
