A boy with a plan

A number of folks have commented on how sweet Kasper looks in that last post. Don't let him fool you! He is 18-months-old and should always be assumed to be armed (with tantrums) and dangerous. We're still seeing a whole lot of this:

Of course, it's not all angry yelling kid. Today he perfected a dead-on impression of his parents and both Grandpa and Mema Rynne. Reading with your eyes closed - it's a family legacy.

On the first baseline

Kasper attended his first* baseball game last week. Kasper liked the game and enjoyed being as loud as possible. Our friends Amy and Blaine were visiting from Maine and went with us. Four adults to one Kasper is probably the minimum ratio for this sort of event. Of course, the Baltimore Orioles and Florida Marlins didn't do anything interesting until after we left at the top of the ninth inning, but a very good time was had by all.
*Kasper has actually been to three ballgames (and yes, the first one was a Red Sox game), but this was his first trip outside of Mommy's belly.

P.S.
Happy 70th Birthday Grampy Woodford!

Fresh from the junk pile

More and more, I find myself asking, "Why do we bother to buy this kid actual toys?" He's currently enjoying the inflatable tubes that were part of a window display at my store and the tube from a roll of paper towels. I hope he can be equally inventive when it comes time for him to have a car.

The look for summer

Really, how can go wrong matching the yogurt on your hair, face, shirt, hands and highchair tray?

P.S. Happy (belated) birthday Patrick. :)

Sunny days

Kasper - ready to fend off the paparazzi at a moment's notice!

Strike a pose

Pat and I both looked at this photo of Kasper and thought, "Hmmm, that pose looks familiar..." A harbinger of things to come? I doubt it but I still remind him girls may come and go - Mama is the one who deserves to help him spend the signing bonus.

And of course after he finished climbing the hill he had to do his victory dance (also known as "the truffle shuffle"). Gotta love that belly!
