Sunny days

Kasper - ready to fend off the paparazzi at a moment's notice!
Playing "prairie dog" at the zoo.
Kasper found our name on the faucet at the "farm" at the zoo.

Strike a pose
Pat and I both looked at this photo of Kasper and thought, "Hmmm, that pose looks familiar..." A harbinger of things to come? I doubt it but I still remind him girls may come and go - Mama is the one who deserves to help him spend the signing bonus.
And of course after he finished climbing the hill he had to do his victory dance (also known as "the truffle shuffle"). Gotta love that belly!

Mema's right-hand man
Kasper has been busy helping his Mema this weekend -- his specialty is redecorating. Or, more precisely, de-decorating.
Kasper and I want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to my mother, and to all the rest of the moms, grandmoms and great-grandmoms out there. Kasper appreciates all you do -- he also thanks his own momma for resisting the occasional urge to sell him to gypsies.

Trio de Kasper
No big news today. Just Kasper cuteness.
Have we mentioned he's got a bit of a daredevil streak? Sure, it's OK on the rocking dog toy but I see motorcycles in our future.
Dad says it's OK to have an American League AND a National League team.
Dad also says, "There hasn't been a photo of Mama on here in months!" So, here you go.

I love the smell of newsprint in the morning!
Nobody warned us. Pat and I met working at a newspaper and it looks like maybe it's in Kasper's blood. In which case, we really need to up the savings plan because he'll be on our couch forever... Or maybe we can arrange for him to get bitten by a radioactive spider in his teens...

The White House? AGAIN?

A sign we've been in DC too long - this is the face Kasper makes when forced to pose in front of the White House yet again.
