Hell on wheels

Kasper got a tricycle. His expression is accurate as to his feelings on this matter. He was up at 5am Sunday to tell me, "Mama, ride my tricycle, with PEDALS!" (If you feel like you've seen this face before, it might have been here. The boy just loves anything with wheels. I'm so frightened of my future.)

In other excitement, we took a walk in our neighborhood today and visited the caboose. Last summer and fall, we visited the caboose regularly since it's next door to the Saturday farmers market. He was so excited to climb on for another "ride" (it actually just sits there, but that seems to be enough for boys of all ages).

And, in case you worried that Kasper skipped a day of trying to do grievious bodily harm to himself or others, he climbed out onto the hitch. That's Patrick's hand pulling him back. I had no idea parenting would require quite so many reiterations of, "Hey, quit trying to break yourself!"
