I can honestly say I never doubted for a moment that Meaghan would be a great mother. Watching her over the past four months become that person -- the confident, patient nurturer I always saw in her -- has been amazing. And the result of all her hard work couldn't be more perfect; a quick glance back through the photos posted here will show you that.

When you consider everything mothers do, giving them just one day in return is hardly an even trade. But you could spend your life trying to repay everything your mother did for you, and you'd still finish up to your eyeballs in debt. So I'll just wish a pleasant, stress-free day to all you mothers out there, including my own mom, to whom I owe so much. And to Kasper's mom, I'll just say 'Happy first Mother's Day, sweetheart. Didn't I say you'd be great at this?'
