Sweet Carolina
Kasper's 300-mile odyssey to see the Rynne crew in North Carolina went so well, he decided he's sticking around until Wednesday. Mommy's keeping him company, and Dad will meet them both, along with Grandma, at the train station. Kasper's smart to stay as long as he can: he's got a really good thing going on down south. The "tummy-time" picture above was from one of the few moments when he wasn't being held by one relative or another. Great-grandma Kasper. Grandma (in the must-have four-generation picture). Grandpa. Uncle Connor. He even managed to scare up some groupies. The kid's got skills.
In all seriousness, we had a terrific time, as does anyone who gets to experience the Rynne brand of hospitality -- many of you out there know exactly what I'm talking about. And knowing Kasper is in good hands makes this week without him and his mom a little easier to take.
Still, that train can't come soon enough.
One last picture. Sleep tight, Kasper. Daddy's got big hugs for you Wednesday!
